Job Opportunity for Senior Nautical Officer

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Chief Officer in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the vessel. This includes maintaining navigational watch, monitoring and maintaining navigational equipment, conducting safety drills, and assisting with cargo operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all safety and navigation procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to navigation and cargo operations.
  • Assist the Chief Officer in overseeing daily shipboard activities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve crew performance and morale.
  • Foster a culture of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility.

Requirements:

  • Valid STCW certification, including Officer in Charge of a Navigational Watch (OICNW).
  • Minimum of years of experience as a 3rd Officer on Tanker vessels.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of international maritime regulations and safety procedures.
  • Able to work effectively in a multicultural environment and lead by example.
