Technical Leadership Role:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through effective team management, operational control, and timely response to customer inquiries. This includes managing a professional support team, developing skills, and monitoring performance. Additionally, the successful candidate will be accountable for key performance indicators, ensure that all customer cases are responded to within the specified Service Level Agreement (SLA), and provide professional responses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Management: Lead a professional support team, including development of skills and performance management.
  • Operational Control: Manage shift scheduling, monitor key performance indicators, and ensure timely response to customer cases.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure all customer cases are addressed professionally and within the SLA.
  • Escalation Management: Act as the primary point of contact for customer escalations and ensure prompt resolution.
  • Knowledge Contribution: Contribute to the development of support knowledge bases and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Technical Expertise: Extensive experience with Linux CLI at a technical level, including implementation, development, and support.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven leadership experience, preferably in a team management role.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Cultural Competence: Ability to work effectively in a globally distributed environment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Commitment to ongoing learning, improvement, and professional development.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Fluency: Proficiency in two languages, with English being the primary language.
  • Linux Desktop: Experience with Linux Desktop technologies, OpenStack, Public Cloud, or Virtualization.
  • Open Source: Participation in Open Source projects.
  • Software Development: Background in software development.
  • Support Organization: Experience working in a support organization.
