Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Back-End Clerk to join our team at Lowe's. As a Back-End Clerk, you will be responsible for processing returns, managing inventory, and ensuring that merchandise meets our quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Process Returns and Manage Inventory

Receive and process returns from customers, ensuring that merchandise is accurately accounted for and replenished.

Ensure Quality and Safety Standards

Verify that merchandise meets Lowe's quality and safety standards, and process returns efficiently.

Communicate with Customers and Vendors

Engage in safe work processes, including the proper disposal of returned items, and communicate with customers and vendors regarding returns, payments, or contract fulfillment.

Manage Inventory and Merchandise

Validate that the correct merchandise is being moved in and out of the store, and ensure that inventory is accurately accounted for.

Requirements

  1. Education and Experience

Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction).

Skills and Qualifications

1 year of experience processing and filing merchandise receiving paperwork, 1 year of experience with store inventory receiving and administration, 6 months of experience in warehouse data entry/bookkeeping, and 6 months of experience communicating with vendors or customers regarding returns, payments, or contract fulfillment.

Working Conditions

This role does not require regular travel; however, this role may need to travel on occasion to meetings, trainings, or to support neighboring stores.

The physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties is required.

Minimally, the ability to lift 25 pounds without assistance is required; may lift over 25 pounds with or without assistance.
