Job Description

The position will be part of a global trade organization. A key responsibility is to support operational processes, particularly export procedures.


Key Responsibilities
  • Understanding of Logistics Operational Processes, with experience of 3rd Party Logistics Supplier Engagement.
  • Supporting import and export procedures.
  • Responsible for KPIs, and functional metrics.
  • Providing support, metrics and vision to optimize Supply Chain processes (Leadtime, Cost to Serve, 3PL engagement etc.) and international trade compliance.
  • Leveraging Process Excellence and Lean practices, as well as Logistics Best Practice techniques to further Logistics maturity.

Customs & Compliance Tasks
  • An ongoing focus on Customs Import and Export practices.
  • Ability to understand and operate within airworthiness legislation requirements, customs regulations, Recof Regime and Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) requirements.
  • Developing and maintaining the highest standard of accuracy of company procedures to meet demands.

Requirements
  • Advanced computer literacy skills, with ongoing experience of windows-based packages.
  • Knowledge on OASIS SAP, Thomson Reuters International Trade Suite of Software and Brazilian Foreign Trade System.
  • English - proven written and oral advanced skills.
  • Bachelors Degree / relevant diploma holder - in Business Administration, Production Engineering, International Relations, Trade or Logistics and Supply Chain.
  • Possessing excellent communication skills, being a good negotiator.
  • Possessing an innovative, logical and creative approach to resolving issues and process improvements.
  • Being curious and passionate about International Trade, Logistics and related fields.
  • Being an effective team player with ability to motivate others.
  • Being adaptable to change.

Desirable Qualifications & Characteristics
  • Certified on Lean Six Sigma techniques - with a focus on Waste Removal and Digitization Kaizen Breakthrough | Improvement Project Experience | Understanding of Lean Principles such as Standard Work, 5S, Kaizen, GEMBA.
  • Certified on foreign trade.
