Corporate Tax Expertise Sought

We're looking for a seasoned professional to lead our corporate tax function in Brazil.

About the Role

As a key member of our tax team, you'll be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations. This will involve managing complex tax calculations, preparing accurate tax returns, and analyzing transfer pricing.

You'll also be expected to prepare US GAAP tax reporting using OneSource Tax Provision tool (Tax Stream).

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure income tax compliance, current and deferred tax calculations
  • Lead and drive income tax benefit calculation (R&D tax benefit, Interest on Net Equity, and others)
  • Responsible for all income tax accounting routines, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Review and ensure income tax notes for local financial statements
  • Prepare and submit US GAAP tax reporting using OneSource Tax Provision tool (Tax Stream)
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economy, Law, or related field, with Masters in Taxes or Finance or post-graduate studies
  • 5 years of proven experience starting and managing direct tax matters for a Multinational
  • Proficient in English skills (written, reading, and speaking)
  • Team player with good collaborative skills, confident in communicating with others, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to meet deadlines, and work under pressure

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in taxation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
