About the Role:

  • As a Supply Chain Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for facilitating the purchasing process by performing activities related to material acquisition and supplier management.
  • You will review purchase requests for completeness and compliance with established guidelines, negotiate with vendors, and approve purchases within authorized limits.
  • Maintain and update purchasing orders, systems, order trackers, and documentation to ensure accuracy and transparency.
  • Monitor the cost, schedule, and performance metrics of contracts and subcontracts to identify areas for improvement.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed quotes for internal stakeholders and equipment suppliers, ensuring accurate pricing and delivery schedules.
  • Develop and maintain an Approved Supplier List (ASL) to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Participate in establishing and verifying equipment supplier sourcing rules to optimize procurement efficiency.
  • Obtain necessary information from equipment suppliers, including pricing, lead times, and product specifications.
  • Generate comprehensive purchasing reports and share them with relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Report past due equipment orders to the internal purchasing team to prevent delays.
  • Engage in managing and monitoring equipment supplier Purchase Orders (POs) funding and creation to ensure timely payments.
  • Collaborate with the planning team and suppliers to guarantee sufficient stock levels at regional hubs to meet forecasted demand.
  • Send Purchase Orders to equipment suppliers and update them with promised delivery dates.
  • FOLLOW UP WITH EQUIPMENT SUPPLIERS ON PAST DUE ORDERS TO MINIMIZE DELAYS.
  • Request material tracking information from equipment suppliers as needed to enhance supply chain visibility.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, logistics agents, or ISP's to resolve equipment receiving issues.
  • Work closely with Accounts Payable (AP) team to resolve invoicing issues with equipment suppliers.
  • Respond to and resolve assigned tickets to ensure prompt issue resolution.
  • Document purchasing activities and report on progress to stakeholders.
  • Prepare weekly or monthly reports on executed POs, highlighting spend and potential areas for cost reduction.
  • Deliver new or updated POs for equipment suppliers with promised delivery dates.
  • Compile documentation on materials tracking information from equipment suppliers.
  • Resolve tickets in system on AP team invoicing issues.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the purchasing function.
