The **Medical Information Specialist** role involves delivering technical and medical information, as well as handling adverse events/product complaints with excellent customer service. It requires analyzing inquiries and documenting interactions according to organizational, customer, and regulatory guidelines.

  • Deliver technical and medical information, or handle adverse events/product complaints with quality customer service.
  • Research and analyze inquiries, documenting interactions according to organizational, customer, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Provide information at a level commensurate with individual expertise, experience, and training.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Analyze caller questions to formulate accurate responses using client-approved resources and record inquiries in databases following organizational and regulatory guidelines.
  • Identify, record, and triage adverse events/product complaints according to organizational and regulatory guidelines, and provide additional support as needed.
  • Maintain knowledge of project policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with internal and external contacts to resolve complex inquiries, researching literature and drafting responses as necessary.

**Education and Experience:**

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent formal academic/vocational qualification.
  • Previous experience providing relevant knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job.
  • Some countries may require a healthcare professional degree or medical information experience.

**Essential Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient language skills (comprehension, speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Interpret client-provided complex medical and technical information.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
