**Sustainability Leadership Role**


Job Description:

This is a leadership position that involves developing and executing strategic sustainability initiatives across businesses, customers, and external stakeholders. The role requires building partnerships with customers and suppliers to advance sustainability frameworks and engage internal and external stakeholders to execute the company's purpose.

The Sustainability Program Lead will lead a team to develop and implement sustainability strategies, policies, and action plans in an integrated operating company approach. This includes partnering with commercial leaders to deploy strategies to gain value from sustainability with various customers and leading communication on sustainability policies and objectives to suppliers and customers.

The role also involves identifying and working with external partners, such as non-governmental organizations, foundations, universities, and government offices, for program design, implementation, securing additional funding, and project work. Additionally, the Sustainability Program Lead will represent the company in external senior-level stakeholder forums and media for matters related to sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop sustainability strategy and tactics for assigned groups, businesses, and major supply chains or assigned sustainability topic areas.
  2. Develop supply chain policy, strategies, and action plans in an integrated operating company approach.
  3. Partner with commercial leaders to deploy strategies to gain value from sustainability with various customers.
  4. Lead the communication on sustainability policies and objectives to suppliers and customers.
  5. Represent the company in external senior-level stakeholder forums and media for matters related to sustainability.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Technical knowledge in environmental, economic, and social benefits of sustainable development.

Experience in identifying customer needs and developing solutions.

Minimum of six years of related work experience.

Fluent in English.

Three years of supervisory experience.

Experience in trading/commodity segment.

Previous experience in sustainability and commercial areas.
