We are seeking an accomplished Senior Software Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the development of our next-generation cloud-based compute platform. This is an opportunity for you to make a significant impact at a high-growth enterprise software company.
About the Role
This position involves building and evolving our cloud-based platform for digitally-delivered life insurance. You will collaborate with other developers and a product manager to design and implement software that supports a suite of business applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop features that optimize our main platform.
- Evaluate and document existing integrations.
- Work with CI / CD / IaC.
- Create clear technical documentation.
- Work in a Dedicated Agile Delivery environment.
- Work in a remote environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 8+ years of experience writing production-quality code, ideally on core software product development (not only professional services or implementation projects).
- Strong proficiency with React and solid experience with NodeJS.
- Solid understanding of software design patterns and best practices in frontend architecture.
- Experience with Test Driven Development.
- Experience designing and building scalable, enterprise-grade cloud-native applications.
- Familiarity with integrating 3rd party APIs (REST, XML, JSON).
- Exposure to Cloud services and DevOps tools (AWS, Docker, Redis, Kubernetes).
- Upper-Intermediate English level.
Preferred Skills
- Experience developing production code using TypeScript.
- Familiarity with Orchestration Platforms.
