Senior Business Consultant Job

This role is for a senior consultant who will provide expert advice and support to clients throughout the implementation stages of our software products.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of financial and banking business processes, as well as strong analytical and organizational skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Focusing on complex functional/business implementation problems.
  • Providing training and knowledge transfer to less experienced consultants.
  • Participating in the review of client organization, processes, and workflows.
  • Contributing to proposals for maximizing Client benefits from Temenos products.
  • Identifying gaps between Client business/functional requirements and Temenos product capabilities.
  • Generating proposals for resolution (e.g., workarounds, changes in processes or application changes).
  • Running functional workshops to meet specific project needs.
  • Validating functional decisions for projects.
  • Defining customization needs for Temenos products.
  • Writing specifications, if needed, for local development.
  • Supervising tasks of the implementation plan.
  • Participating in functional testing.
  • Providing clear and concise functional documentation.
  • Conducting client functional training.
  • Providing regular updates and feedback to Project Managers.
  • Coordinating with maintenance groups to resolve product problems encountered by clients.
  • Completing functional support hand-over details.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Finance or banking software consultancy or equivalent industry knowledge.
  • In-depth understanding of financial and banking business processes.
  • Strong knowledge of a banking/financial software application with implementation experience.
  • Expert skill using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word as well as other MS Office applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and written communication.
  • Ability to facilitate and conduct presentations and workshops.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
