Key Role in Quality Governance

We are looking for a Senior Manager to lead our quality function within Nutrition. This role is responsible for ensuring that products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. The successful candidate will have a strong customer/consumer focus, experience in leading teams, and a passion for driving a culture of quality.

The ideal candidate will have appropriate functional business experience in quality, manufacturing, engineering, and/or other supply chain/R&D roles. They should also have experience in managing senior stakeholders, working with factories, and virtual team working. Additionally, they should be digitally enabled with an aptitude for new technologies, have strong communication skills, and flexibility to travel.

As the Senior Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the quality strategy, deploying governance, and achieving goals. You will lead a team of managers across offices and factories, totaling around 130 employees. Your responsibilities will include innovation execution, quality risk management, quality improvement tasks, partnering with colleagues in Marketing and R&D, and supplier quality improvement.

The Nutrition Quality Lead will have full end-to-end responsibility for the quality function within Nutrition, starting from design and innovation right through to the Sourcing Unit quality teams who manufacture our products. You will work with billion-dollar iconic brands and partner with colleagues in the Consumer & Markets Insights Team, Marketing, and R&D to really understand our consumers.

Requirements

• A food science or engineering degree (or similar) would be preferred, but other relevant backgrounds and experiences can also be considered.
• Appropriate functional business experience in quality, manufacturing, engineering, and/or other supply chain/R&D roles.

Quality Leadership

The LATAM Nutrition BU Quality Lead plays a key role in the overall Quality Leadership team for LATAM. They will work closely with colleagues in Marketing and R&D to deliver high-quality products that meet consumer needs. This includes developing and implementing quality strategies, leading innovation execution, and managing quality risks.

Culture of Quality

As the Head of Quality for Nutrition in LATAM, you will be responsible for landing and leading Quality culture program activities. This includes driving a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and employee engagement. You will work closely with HR and other functions to develop and implement programs that support these objectives.

Education

A food science or engineering degree (or similar) would be preferred, but other relevant backgrounds and experiences can also be considered.

Language Skills
