About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Operations Specialist to join our team at Buckman. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for driving business growth through data-driven insights and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Safety and Risk Management
    Ensure a safe working environment by identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  2. Price Governance
    Develop and maintain pricing strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability.
  3. Contract Management
    Build and maintain bid analysis workbooks and contract proformas to inform business decisions.
  4. Product Line Analytics
    Analyze product performance to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  5. CRM Maintenance
    Coordinate with S&OP to maintain and approve competitor data entry into CRM.
  6. Market Analysis
    Perform market analysis to identify trends and opportunities for new products and disruptive technologies.
Requirements

University degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent. 4-6 years' experience in a commercial operations role.

Skills and Behaviors

Knowledge of IT systems, business finance metrics, and analytical tools. Skills in business acumen, financial analytics, and solution-oriented thinking. Behaviors include management of teams through influence, analytical thinking, and rigorous execution.
