Senior Data Engineer: Leverage Data Analytics to Drive Business Growth

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our global team.

This role involves working on challenging projects that impact core business activities, leveraging data analytics and technology to drive innovation and improve decision-making capabilities. You will be part of a multidisciplinary Agile team building high-quality data pipelines and delivering analytic solutions.

The successful candidate will have strong expertise in data architecture, data engineering, data analysis, reporting, and data science techniques and workflows. They will also possess excellent problem-solving skills, be an agile learner, and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Solve complex data problems to deliver insights that help the organization achieve its goals.
• Create data products for analytics and data scientist team members to improve their productivity.
• Mentor and coach other data and analytic professionals on data standards and practices.
• Foster a culture of sharing, re-use, design for scale stability, and operational efficiency of data and analytical solutions.
• Lead the evaluation, implementation, and deployment of emerging tools and processes for analytic data engineering to improve the organization's productivity as a team.
• Develop and deliver communication and education plans on analytic data engineering capabilities, standards, and processes.
• Partner with business analysts and solutions architects to develop technical architectures for strategic enterprise projects and initiatives.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and methodologies, including machine learning, data science, computer vision, artificial intelligence, statistics, and applied mathematics.
• Ensure timely analysis and testing for regular maintenance of solutions over time.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, data engineering, and data science, with experience working on large-scale data systems and collaborative Agile teams. They will also possess excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work at an abstract level and gain consensus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain large-scale data systems and pipelines.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop technical architectures and solutions.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop data products and analytics solutions.
• Develop and deliver educational content on data engineering and analytics best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on code quality and best practices.

Requirements:

• Strong expertise in data architecture, data engineering, data analysis, reporting, and data science techniques and workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly.
