Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cargo Inspector to join our team at FedEx Lac. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of our cargo handling processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the receipt and inspection of cargo shipments, verifying quantities, weights, and documentation.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of cargo movements, including storage, loading, and unloading.
  • Collaborate with drivers and warehouse staff to ensure timely and efficient cargo handling.
  • Identify and report any discrepancies or issues with cargo shipments, including damage or missing items.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize cargo handling processes and improve customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field an asset.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
