As a key player in our company's data-driven initiatives, we are seeking a skilled Data Analyst with expertise in Metabase and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining dashboards, generating reports, and conducting data analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organization.   • Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Metabase and SSRS to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Extract, transform, and analyze large datasets from various sources using ETL processes to identify trends and patterns.
  • Collaborate closely with product, technology, and business teams to gather requirements and deliver actionable data-driven solutions that meet their needs.
  • Optimize complex SQL queries to ensure efficient data retrieval and maintenance of data integrity and consistency.
  • Support data governance and documentation efforts within Business Intelligence processes to ensure compliance and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with Metabase and SSRS to create impactful visualizations and reports.
  • Strong SQL skills, including knowledge of complex queries, joins, CTEs, data modeling, and database design.
  • Experience working with relational databases, such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to extract meaningful insights from data and present them in a clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with other Business Intelligence tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Experience with Python or R programming languages for advanced data analysis and machine learning techniques.
  • Knowledge of Data Warehousing and dimensional modeling concepts to design and implement efficient data architectures.

  • Ability to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
