As a key member of our Development Tools and Methodology team, you will be responsible for managing daily CM build/test and release engineering tasks for development releases and customer hotfixes.
Key Responsibilities- Software Development Lifecycle Management: Ensure seamless execution of the software development lifecycle, including coding, code reviews, source code management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Version Control System Administration: Administer one or more version control systems (Perforce/git/Mercurial) at an admin level, ensuring efficient and secure management of source code.
- UNIX Development Environment Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of UNIX development/compiler environments (gnu, make, dependency management) and proficiency with Linux.
- Scripting and Automation: Develop and maintain Python, Perl, and/or shell scripts to automate processes and improve efficiency.
- Continuous Integration and Quality Assurance: Ensure the smooth operation of continuous Integration systems (Jenkins, etc.) and quality tools such as Coverity, Parasoft, Purify, gcov, etc.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Cloud Computing: Knowledge of AWS cloud and exposure to containerization platforms like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Collaboration and Communication: Proven ability to collaborate effectively across organizations with Agile development and excellent communication skills in English.
- Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Aptitude to learn new technologies rapidly and ability to multi-task between complex projects and operational requests.
