Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled z/OS Site Reliability Engineering Professional to join our team.

About the Job

This role will involve maintaining, supporting and enhancing various aspects of the Z environment, including z/OS Storage Management, Configuration, Performance, Capacity, and Networking tools. You will also be responsible for supporting and improving multi-technology monitoring and automated remediation systems that support our internal applications and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and enhance z/OS Storage Management, Configuration, Performance, Capacity, and Networking tools.
  • Support and improve multi-technology monitoring and automated remediation systems.
  • Identify process improvements and propose automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Deep knowledge of z/OS Base, z/Storage, or z/Config support in a mainframe environment.
  • Experience with Cloud Infrastructure and Network technologies.
  • Ability to solve complex problems, including installation, configuration, high availability, root cause analysis, performance tuning, and security & compliance activities.
  • Experience working with global teams across multiple locations.
  • Experience in Data Center Management and Migrations.
  • Experience in Disaster Recovery.
  • Experience in Modernization and Automation.
  • Ability to work autonomously with an innovative mindset.
  • Lead discussions on z/OS infrastructure design, planning, and implementation.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
