We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Developer to join our team at SAP. As a Cloud Developer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our Data Integration Services.

About the Role

SAP Datasphere is a comprehensive data service built on SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) that enables every data professional to deliver seamless and scalable access to mission-critical business data. You will work with technical leads and management of the Cloud Infrastructure/Observability team to maintain and improve the provisioning, deployment, and orchestration steps needed to run our services for thousands of customers all over the world.

Your Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure early detection and rapid resolution of issues.">
  • Architect multi-region and multi-zone deployments to guarantee service resilience and fault tolerance.">
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to enhance deployment speed and reliability.">
  • Implement proactive troubleshooting measures.">
  • Propose and participate in the implementation of security best practices within the infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards.">
  • Resolve critical outages, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely recovery.">
  • Drive root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions to prevent future incidents.">

Requirements

">

You must have proficiency in one or more programming languages: Golang, Python, Groovy, Java, shell script, and JavaScript. You should also have experience with cloud integration and deployment on AWS, GCP, or Azure. Additionally, you need to have knowledge of container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, as well as experience with building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Argo. You should also be familiar with implementing and managing observability tools for monitoring, logging, and tracing, such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and Jaeger.
