Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP Advanced Business Application Programming Consultant to join our team. As a key member of the team, you will work on various projects, including SAP Tax Reform Project in a Lifescience Company.

  1. Prepare technical specification documents based on functional specifications provided by functional consultants.
  2. Review functional specifications and peer review technical specifications prepared by other technical consultants.
  3. Perform code reviews and suggest best practices as per quality guidelines.
  4. Implement code remediation during SAP Upgrade project.
  5. Support SAP Upgrade project creating objects and manual steps.

You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, such as SAP ECC/S4HANA, and develop new custom solutions and interfaces with allied systems interacting with SAP using objects like RFCs, ALE/IDocs, EDI, Webservices, FTP, SFTP etc.

Logistics modules like SD/MM/FICO will be your area of focus for understanding processes and developing coding, documentation, and execution of unit tests, systems, integration and acceptance tests and testing tools for functions of high complexity.

Required Skills and Qualifications

As a successful candidate, you should possess:

  • Expertise in SAP ABAP development, with experience in working with SAP ECC/S4HANA.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics modules like SD/MM/FICO.
  • Ability to understand business processes and requirements.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience in working with version control systems.
