We offer a distinguished opportunity for recent graduates to pursue their career in energy modeling through extensive training and high-impact projects.

Job Summary

As a key member of our energy modeling team, you will be responsible for developing analytical and computational tools, enhancing our modeling methodology, analyzing data, formulating recommendations on future trends, and conveying insights to enhance clients' decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a suite of energy market models
  • Work closely with research and consulting teams to derive insights from model results
  • Contribute to continuously improving the modeling team's operations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess relevant skills and qualifications including:

  • A degree in Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or other quantitative field from a top university
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and analytical ability
  • The ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex quantitative data and information
  • Proficiency in one programming language such as C++, Matlab, Python, R, or Java
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a great team player
  • Proficiency in English (C1 level)
  • Written and spoken fluency in Portuguese (C2 level)
Desirable Attributes

A relevant Master's degree or PhD would be an added advantage. Additionally, knowledge of and interest in energy markets, and a belief that well-designed models significantly improve decision-making would be beneficial.
