We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our team. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and optimization of our Electronic Health Record (EHR) platform using PHP / Laravel.

1. Develop and optimize the EHR platform to ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability.
2. Design and implement database schemas that represent and support business processes.
3. Develop and maintain APIs for internal and external use, facilitating seamless integration with other healthcare systems and third-party services.
4. Ensure the platform's compliance with healthcare industry standards by implementing and maintaining robust security measures and data protection protocols.

1. Strong proficiency in PHP / Laravel and MySQL.
2. At least 5 years of experience in backend development, with a proven track record of developing and maintaining scalable web applications.
3. Experience in the healthcare sector or EHR platforms is highly desirable.

1. Mentor junior developers on best practices in backend development, code review, and team collaboration.
2. Stay up-to-date with new technology trends and evaluate their application to continually innovate and enhance the platform.
3. Participate in the agile development process, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
4. Collaborate with the design team to refine the platform's user interface and experience.
