Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Food Technologist to join our team at Dsm-Firmenich. As a Food Technologist, you will be responsible for supporting the development of new products and solutions, providing technical expertise to customers and sales teams, and leading and supporting technicians in their training and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of new products and solutions, including the preparation of prototypes and technical documentation.
- Provide technical expertise to customers and sales teams, including training and support on our products and services.
- Lead and support technicians in their training and development, including mentoring and coaching.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy of project information and to implement new or improved methods as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Technical background in flavors or ingredients, technologies, additives, and emulsions.
- Knowledge of sugar reduction and sweeteners, as well as alcoholic beverages development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Fluent in English, with Spanish a plus.
