Senior Software Engineer, Content Studio, Infrastructure Specialist

Our products require handling vast amounts of data, and our engineers work on a wide range of projects, from information retrieval and distributed computing to large-scale system design, networking, and data storage. As a software engineer on our Search team, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the way people search for information.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and test software products and systems.
- Participate in design reviews and collaborate with peers and stakeholders to select the best technologies for the project.
- Review and provide feedback on code developed by other engineers to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Contribute to documentation and educational content, adapting it to product updates and user feedback.
- Triage and resolve product or system issues by analyzing sources and impact on hardware, network, or service operations.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience coding in languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- 3+ years of experience in software testing, maintenance, or launch, and 1+ year of experience with software design and architecture.
- Experience with stakeholder management, ETL tools, and data acquisition.
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
- 1+ year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Experience with industry-standard data processing paradigms, including ETL tools and large-scale implementations.
- Experience with data engineering technologies such as Apache Flume.
