Backend Software Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced backend software engineer with strong Python expertise to join our skilled, collaborative team. You will be responsible for evolving our instant-quote product and technology platform. As a key member of our organization, your contributions will have a significant impact on Xometry's success.

  • You will design, code, test, and release software.
  • You will read, write, and review code in HTML, Typescript/Javascript/React, Python, and Rust.
  • You will collaborate closely with engineers and product managers to become a valued team member.
  • You will take operational responsibility for services owned by your team, including deployment into AWS and kubernetes environments, and participating in an on-call rotation.

Qualifications and Skills

We require:

  • 10+ years of experience as a software developer in a fast-paced technical environment.
  • Strong English speaking and writing skills, including clear communication with diverse audiences.
