Principal Structures Engineer

As a leader in the field of structural engineering, we are seeking an experienced professional to manage our Boeing Commercial Aircraft Structure team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and structural engineering, with experience in managing employees and first-level managers.
The Senior Structural Engineering Manager will be responsible for developing and executing integrated departmental plans, policies, and procedures, as well as providing input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, and objectives. They will also acquire resources for department activities, provide technical management of suppliers, and lead process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage employees and first-level managers performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Mechanical & Structural Engineering.
- Develop and execute integrated departmental plans, policies, and procedures.
- Acquire resources for department activities.
- Provide technical management of suppliers.
- Lead process improvements.
The successful candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
Basic Qualifications:- Experience in management or leadership role.
- Senior level of experience in structures engineering.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in related fields.
- Proficiency in English.
- Legally able to work in Brazil.
- Masters Degree in an engineering related field or Business Administration (MBA).
- Senior level of experience with design and analysis of metallic and/or composite materials.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
