POSITION SUMMARY
The Junior Financial Analyst in Accounting Operations plays a crucial role in providing streamlined and effective accounting services for designated responsibilities, adhering to established Service Level Agreements.

This position is accountable for maintaining the integrity of sub-ledgers within the assigned area, ensuring compliance with departmental and accounting standards.

The analyst is expected to address and resolve any arising issues promptly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process data accurately and thoroughly in line with SLAs.
- Reconcile and supply information to facilitate ledger reconciliation for the assigned area.
- Assist in resolving inquiries with relevant internal and external stakeholders, escalating to management when necessary.
- Generate control statements and report findings to management as required.

- Provide necessary information for internal and external audits as directed by management, ensuring all data is complete and accurate.

- Uphold adherence to internal control protocols and Business Process Blueprints.
- Execute specific departmental projects and process enhancement initiatives.

EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting setting, ideally within a medium-sized organization.
