Operational Excellence Specialist

At Emerson, we are seeking a skilled Operational Excellence Specialist to drive process improvements and enhance our quote-to-cash-related activities. As a key member of our team, you will analyze data, collaborate with various teams, and develop improvement plans to optimize efficiency and the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze data on quote, order, procurement, factory, and billing processes to identify opportunities and evaluate performance.
  • Support workflow analysis and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement improvement plans.
  • Assist in supervising the effectiveness of implemented improvements.
  • Apply LEAN and project management methodologies to identify, plan, and implement initiatives.
  • Deliver training and materials required for the implementation of new processes, systems, and tools.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on findings and progress.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to learn about continuous improvement methodologies.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Industrial Engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in continuous improvement.
  • At least 2 years working on quote-to-cash related processes and systems.
  • Proven ability to listen to customers and communicate effectively in various settings.
  • Able to adapt to new opportunities and challenges.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent people skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Advanced oral and written English skills (B2 minimum).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • LEAN and Project Management certifications.
  • Advanced written and oral Spanish skills.
