Linux Software Engineer\

We are seeking a skilled Linux software engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining cutting-edge Linux-based infrastructure and applications.

\About the Role:\

  • You will work with our team to design, develop, and deploy Linux-based solutions that meet the needs of our customers and partners.\
  • Responsibilities include resolving complex customer problems related to Ubuntu, Kernel, Ceph, OpenStack, or Kubernetes and other open source software.\
  • Maintain close working relationships with our Field, Support, and product engineering teams.\
  • Participate in upstream communities and contribute to the development of open source software.\
  • Develop bug fixes, backport patches, and work with upstream for inclusion.\
  • Review code produced by other engineers and demonstrate good judgment in technical methods and techniques.\
  • Prioritize work and manage time effectively against those priorities.\
  • Participate in team discussions to improve processes, tools, and documentation.\
  • Maintain clear, technical, and concise communications.\
  • An exceptional academic track record and background in Computer Science, STEM, or similar fields.\
  • Experience with Linux and open source software is required, as well as experience with at least one of Python, Go, C, or C++ on Linux.\
  • A drive to learn unfamiliar technology and deep-dive difficult issues is essential.\
