Data Engineer Position

This role is a data integration specialist position, fully remote with flexible work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data integrations and preprocessing solutions to drive business insights.
  • Maintain and sustain data assets within the domain, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
  • Incorporate data from various sources into the enterprise data foundation for enhanced decision-making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholder teams to resolve issues and optimize processes.
  • Work on user stories for data ingestion into bronze and silver tables, leveraging expertise in data warehousing concepts.
  • Cross-functionally coordinate with Data Governance, Steward, and Modelling teams as needed.
  • Prioritize technical debt items with the Scrum Master, ensuring seamless project delivery.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Azure tool stack, including Databricks, ADF, and Synapse Analytics. Proficiency in Python, PySpark, SQL, and DevOps CI/CD is also required. Experience with RDBMS, data warehousing concepts, and cost optimizations is desirable. Familiarity with Tableau and PowerBI is a plus.

Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates should have:

  • Strong programming skills in Python, PySpark, and SQL.
  • Experience with Azure tools, including Databricks, ADF, and Synapse Analytics.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and cost optimizations.
  • Proficiency in DevOps CI/CD methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Tableau and PowerBI for data visualization.
