**Data Science Role**
Viasat is seeking an ambitious individual to join our team as a Data Scientist. As a key member of our data-driven organization, you will be responsible for developing and applying advanced analytical techniques to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting literature research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities
- Preprocessing and analyzing large datasets using Python libraries like Pandas and NumPy
- Developing and implementing machine learning models to solve complex problems
- Executing experiments and generating reports to communicate findings
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:
- A university degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science)
- Fundamental knowledge of data science principles and practices
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, with experience in data manipulation and visualization
- Experience with version-control software like Git
- An intermediate level of English language proficiency (speaking and reading)
