Position Summary:
This role is integral to our streamlined Investment team, which is responsible for deal sourcing, analysis, execution, monitoring, and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
The Senior Investment Analyst will engage with all aspects of our investment operations and offer comprehensive support to the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and evaluate data for investment case studies and presentations;
- Perform industry and market research;
- Analyze business models and sectors;
- Conduct financial statement assessments and modeling;
- Assist senior team members in identifying potential investment opportunities;
- Oversee relationships with external service providers, including asset managers, credit originators, and legal firms;
- Support the due diligence process;
- Monitor and reconcile transactions from approval to settlement and repayment;
- Compile regular reports to provide management with insights on financial performance, key metrics, and strategic considerations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Administration, Economics, or Engineering;
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in investment management, equity/credit research, capital markets, or mergers and acquisitions;
- Fluent in Portuguese and English, with interviews conducted in English;
- Strong creative thinking abilities;
- Proficient in financial modeling;
- Proactive and hands-on approach;
- Advanced skills in Excel.
