Data Environment Understanding & Data Governance PrinciplesThe selected candidate will gain a comprehensive understanding of our data environment, encompassing data sources, systems, and data flows. This includes assessing the maturity of our data governance program.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain dashboards to visualize data quality metrics within the data catalog, incorporating metrics related to data quality, metadata completeness, data lineage, and policy adherence.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of metadata within the data catalog.
- Support the operationalization of criticality and security assessments.
- Document and maintain data lineage information.
- Contribute to data discovery initiatives to identify and understand data assets.
- Effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Maintain clear and concise documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of programming languages (Python, SQL) and data visualization tools (Power BI).
- Capability to prioritize multiple tasks while achieving deadlines.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Detail-oriented individual with passion for quality and enthusiasm for new technologies.
- Bilingualism in spoken and written language is an asset.
