About this Role
Howard University is seeking seasonal application readers for the undergraduate admissions cycle. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing admission applications efficiently and accurately, ensuring timely and objective decision-making.
About You
We are looking for individuals with strong computer skills, excellent time management abilities, and keen judgment and discretion. Prior experience in college admissions is preferred but not required. You must have access to a reliable high-speed internet connection and a private, secure location to work.
Responsibilities
- Review admission applications online with efficiency, timeliness, and accuracy.
- Track hours worked and communicate frequently with the admission office.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and discretion guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to exercise keen judgment.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to spend long periods reading from a computer screen.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in college admissions or working closely with high school students.
