Chief Architect: Cutting-Edge Search Solutions

Transformative Innovation Lead: We're shaping the future of academic discovery with cutting-edge AI research. As a key member of our team, you'll drive algorithmic advancements that expedite scientific progress across medicine, AI, climate, and more.
The Role- Design and optimize intelligent search systems, leveraging semantic pipelines, graph-based retrieval, and agentic technologies to power our core capabilities.
- Create scalable APIs and services capable of handling hundreds of concurrent requests, ensuring seamless performance and efficiency.
- Develop and implement vector databases and embedding-based retrieval systems, architecting infrastructure that supports rapid innovation.
- Pioneer GenAI integrations, including react agents, graph agents, prompt engineering, and LLM orchestration, pushing the boundaries of what's possible.
- Establish end-to-end search engines from scratch, designed to handle complex academic workloads with precision and speed.
- Contribute directly to our infrastructure, driving efficiency and impact in the pursuit of cutting-edge science.
This is a high-impact role with real ownership. You will move quickly, experiment, and deploy production systems that transform the lives of researchers worldwide.
As a member of our team, you'll possess:
- A strong background in semantic search, vector databases, LLM frameworks, agent-based systems, and document retrieval.
- Expertise in Python for backend development, with the ability to craft scalable APIs and services.
- Past experience deploying systems at scale, including search engines, retrieval pipelines, or embedding models.
- The ability to design infrastructure that serves hundreds of concurrent requests with ease.
- Experience setting up and hosting APIs with public access, balancing speed, cost, and reliability.
- A research-driven mindset with a focus on measurable outcomes and a passion for innovation.
