Job Title: Senior Backend Software Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our Wellbeing Access Squad within CIA. This is an exciting opportunity to work on simplifying the employees' signup experience, making the process seamless, secure, and stress-free for end-users.

About the Role:

This role involves collaborating with developers, product managers, and UX designers to define the architecture of systems and integrations, bring innovation to the table, and ensure design docs are up to date. You will also support existing systems to enhance functionality, scale, and transform to meet product demands.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Define system architectures and integrations, ensuring design docs are up-to-date.
  • Enhance existing system functionality, scalability, and performance to meet product demands.
  • Ensure successful deliveries, promote long-term technical health of journeys, and write maintainable code.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UX designers to achieve project goals.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to incident resolution and troubleshooting in production.
Requirements:
  • Proficient in one or more programming languages (Java/Kotlin/Golang/Typescript/etc.). Golang is a plus.
  • Believer in automation (tests, CI/CD, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills to work with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in English.
  • Experience designing and developing modern web applications.
  • Open to new experiences, eager to learn and grow.
