Automation and Control Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Automation and Control Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will work on engineering projects during the conceptual, basic, and detailed phases in the disciplines of Automation, Instrumentation, and Telecommunications.

You will participate in the preparation and review of instrumentation and automation project documents, including instrument layout plans, P&ID instrumentation, control system configurations, and automation setups.

You will also interface with other disciplines, such as piping, systems, process, mechanical, and electrical teams, and analyze vendor drawings to provide technical support for on-site implementation.

About You
  • Experience in executive engineering projects in the Mining and Steel sectors;
  • Experience in 3D modeling in an integrated environment (BIM);
  • Experience with control systems (DCS/PLC and SCADA);
  • Experience in instrumentation and industrial automation in the mining sector;

Desirable qualifications include experience in project implementation, intermediate English and Spanish proficiency, and intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD/Volo View, Revit, Navis, and Plant3D.

Candidates who are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or holding a completed Technical degree in Automation or Industrial Instrumentation are also encouraged to apply.
