Financial Planning & Decision Support Manager
About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning & Decision Support Manager to collaborate with our Marketing and Commercial teams in Diageo's business in Paraguay, Uruguay & Brazil.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Grow quality market share by partnering with Marketing and Commercial teams to make informed investment decisions regarding portfolio, trade activities and balance between ATL / BTL activations.
  • Finance leader for innovation: Be the finance leader to support innovation business growth, producing financial analysis to support gate decisions, ensuring innovation pipeline is an enabler of profitable market share growth, and tracking performance of already launched innovation.
  • Performance monitoring: Monitor performance by category and brand, leading reviews in Marketing BPM meetings to provide clarity on main deviations, influence interventions and drive traction into action plans.

Leadership Responsibilities and Decision-Making Rights:
  • Influencing decision making by inputting the annual operating plan.
  • Business Strategy Development: Understands the overall business environment and be able to develop strategic proposals that contribute to short term and long-term goals by Marketing Teams.
  • External Awareness: Understands the market environment and based on this, be able to evaluate strategic alternatives and anticipate predictable financial impacts (O&R).
  • Opportunity Creation: Establishing portfolio strategy and aligning investment decisions to support long term business goals.
  • Business Partner: to use Financial knowledge and understanding of the business to contribute to great forecasting and accuracy of the business with high risk and opportunities management.
