Embedded Software Engineer – Mid Level Position

We are seeking a skilled Embedded Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Python, and JavaScript.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain software for Nodegrid OS using programming languages such as C, C++, Python, and JavaScript.
  • Support the development and debugging of network protocols and services.
  • Research, design, and propose appropriate technical solutions to implement new features requested by the product team.
  • Maintain open-source third-party software packages.
  • Properly test implementations before handing over to the Quality Assurance team.
  • Work together with the Quality Assurance team to ensure implementations are validated correctly.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of professional development experience is a differential.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
  • Proficient with writing code in at least one of the following programming languages: Bash, Javascript (NodeJS), Python, C, C++.
  • Experience with Linux command line as a user or server administrator.
  • College-level understanding of computer networking concepts.
