Senior Product Manager, Alexa Brazil

Are you passionate about cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence and ambient computing? The Amazon Alexa International team is seeking a Senior Product Manager to enhance and innovate the Alexa customer experience for Brazilian customers. As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring our customers are delighted, including launching new Alexa-powered devices and experiences and making Alexa smarter. This role combines business strategy and product definition/delivery. You will need to thrive and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment – operating at all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate will use a combination of outstanding analytical skills, cross-functional understanding, business judgment, and strategic thinking to define programs that improve Alexa BR customer experience. You will work closely with partners such as business development, solutions architects, finance, engineering, tax, accounting, and legal to ensure customers have access to a world-class Alexa experience in BR.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Define user needs and identify gaps, features enhancements, and opportunities to grow the business.
  2. Develop creative, high-quality, simple product roadmaps based on team strategy and vision.
  3. Develop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture for each product and application.
  4. Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance, and operational support load.
  5. Continuously monitor customer experience performance, identify gaps, and improvement areas and build an improvement plan.
  6. Work closely with engineering teams and program management to deliver products to the market.
  7. Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology experience.
  2. Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  3. Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
  4. Experience with feature delivery and trade-offs of a product.
  5. Experience owning technology products.
  6. Strong analytical skills, ability to produce, interpret, and draw conclusions from complex data.
  7. Demonstrated ability to solve problems and translate customer needs into projects using creative thinking and innovation.
  8. Experience thinking strategically and executing tactically, with the desire to roll up your sleeves.
  9. Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new digital tools for process optimization and reporting.
  10. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  11. Fluent in both English and Portuguese.
  12. Experience influencing senior leadership through data-driven insights.
  13. Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  14. Experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels across multiple business units.
  15. Experience in start-up type environments or short-cycle businesses.
  16. Knowledge of LLM and Generative Artificial Intelligence.
