Role Overview

As a Senior Mobile Architect, you will play a critical role in guiding technical feature design and managing a full-stack team, with a primary focus on frontend engineers for both mobile and web platforms. You will take ownership of understanding business and operational problems and delivering effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Guide the technical design and manage a full-stack team, with a focus on frontend engineers for mobile and web platforms.
  2. Understand business and operational challenges, and deliver appropriate solutions.
  3. Collaborate with business stakeholders to implement changes in the BEES application.
  4. Architect simple, scalable solutions in collaboration with Product and Business Operations teams.
  5. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the codebase to enhance efficiency and robustness.
  6. Mentor and develop engineering teams, fostering best practices in development.
About You
  1. Experience as an architect, tech lead, or engineering manager in a large enterprise or tech startup.
  2. Self-starter capable of leading multiple strategic projects in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Hands-on leader, willing to troubleshoot engineering problems and resolve platform issues.
  4. Creative thinker with a passion for solving complex problems and creating impactful solutions.
  5. Strong communication skills to translate business objectives into engineering plans.
  6. Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
  1. BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Software/Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  2. 4+ years of relevant development experience, preferably in a fast-paced tech environment.
  3. 1-3 years of experience in managing or mentoring developers.
  4. 2+ years of development experience with React, Kotlin for Android, and Swift for iOS.
  5. Experience with Microservices architectures (RESTful/JSON, Spring Boot, Java,, Express).
  6. Understanding of distributed systems.
  7. Experience in a scaled Agile & Scrum environment.
  8. Proficiency in English.
Skills and Expertise
  1. Mobile and Web Stacks Expertise:
  2. iOS: Experience with Swift and familiarity with frameworks like UIKit and SwiftUI.
  3. Android: Proficiency in Kotlin and Java, experience with Android SDK, Jetpack, and tools like Android Studio.
  4. Web: Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular,,,, and Express.
Backend Integration:
  1. APIs: Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and potentially GraphQL.
  2. Team Communication: Facilitate discussions between frontend and backend teams to align customer needs and technical requirements.
DevOps/SRE:
  1. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git repository management, automated testing, monitoring, and deployment automation.
  2. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager.
  3. Understanding of SRE practices, including monitoring, logging, and incident management for high system availability.
Software Architecture:
  1. Design Patterns: Deep knowledge of design patterns, clean architecture, and SOLID principles.
  2. Microservices Architecture: Experience with orchestration, service communication, and dependency management.
  3. Performance and Scalability: Ability to optimize systems for growth and high demand.
