Hill's Pet Nutrition, a leading manufacturer of premium pet food, is seeking an experienced Senior Veterinary Affairs Leader to join our dynamic team. With a strong commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction, we strive to enrich the lives of pets and their owners worldwide.

This exciting opportunity will see you play a key role in developing and implementing strategies to strengthen our engagement with the veterinary community. As a Senior Veterinary Affairs Leader, you will be responsible for guiding our team to identify, engage, and build relationships with veterinarians, animal scientists, and other key stakeholders. Your expertise and influence will be instrumental in shaping our approach to veterinary affairs and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of strategic plans to promote Hill's products and services among veterinarians and animal care professionals;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and stakeholders within the veterinary community;
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on veterinary affairs matters, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives;
  • Mentor and develop our team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration;
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity, providing actionable insights to inform our strategic decisions;

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in Veterinary Medicine or a related field;
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in veterinary affairs or a related field, preferably within the pet food industry;
  • Proven track record of success in building and maintaining strong relationships with veterinarians and animal care professionals;
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office/Google tools and ability to learn new software quickly;

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
