Job Title: Android TV Developer
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Android TV Developer to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for supporting the development of new features on our TV applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality Android TV applications using Kotlin and Kotlin coroutines
- Design and implement features such as profile creation, bookmarking videos, and more
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other applications
- Write unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Android TV development trends and best practices
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience with Android development (preferably Android TV/Fire TV, but mobile experience is also acceptable)
- Recent experience with Kotlin and Kotlin coroutines
- Android Architecture Components and Java Foundation and standard libraries
- Experience with MVVM Architecture
- Unit testing experience
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
