Senior X-Ray Applications Specialist

The position of Senior X-Ray Applications Specialist involves utilizing advanced technical expertise to integrate x-ray and spectroscopy solutions into various products and processes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D and engineering, to develop innovative solutions.
  • Provide expert technical support, including installation, calibration, and maintenance, to ensure optimal performance of x-ray and spectroscopy equipment.
  • Conduct experiments and analyze data to provide scientific insights and practical solutions to complex technical challenges.
  • Train and educate customers and internal teams on the proper use and best practices related to x-ray and spectroscopy systems.
  • Participate in research and development projects for new products and technologies.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in x-ray and spectroscopy technologies.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in physics, Engineering Physics, or a related field; a Ph.D. is an asset.
  • Proven experience with x-ray techniques (diffraction, fluorescence, etc.) and spectroscopy (UV-Vis, Raman, etc.).
  • Ability to operate, calibrate, and maintain x-ray and spectroscopy equipment.
  • Experience in data analysis and interpretation of experimental results.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
