Childcare Educator

Job Summary

At Mt. Bachelor, we're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Educator to join our team. As a key member of our childcare staff, you will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment for children to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and care for a designated group of children daily, working closely with aides to ensure their needs are met.
• Lead group activities, art projects, and serve food, promoting a sense of community and socialization among children.
• Document children's attendance, medical needs, and personal specifics reported by parents, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
• Nurture, comfort, and care for infants and toddlers, including diaper changing and other essential tasks.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have completed 20 credits worth of training in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.
• Must have experience working with infants, children, and toddlers.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check, hold a current and valid OR Food Handler's card, First Aid, and CPR certification.
• Physical ability to bend and lift constantly throughout the day.
