We are seeking a skilled Junior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Brazil. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing engineering documents, verifying and supporting the development of mechanical layouts, and participating in meetings with suppliers and consultants.
Responsibilities- Prepare detailed engineering documents for mechanical projects;
- Support the development of conceptual, basic, and detailed designs;
- Participate in technical activities for belt conveyor and boiler calculations;
- Interface with suppliers and international consultants to apply technical solutions.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering;
- Experience in 2D and 3D BIM for large- and medium-scale Mining projects;
- Knowledge of simulation software (FEM) and mechanical calculations;
- Experience in sizing bulk handling and transport equipment, as well as boiler calculations;
- Strong communication skills and an articulate demeanor;
- English and Spanish language proficiency is an asset.
