We are seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to coordinate the execution of projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery with safety and quality. This role is based in Campos dos Goytacazes, RJ and reports to the Asset Management Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate project scope, schedule, finances, and resources to meet predetermined Corbion business objectives.
  • Document project processes and ensure deliverables are delivered on-time. Provide regular reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Assess and mitigate blockers and potential risks.
  • Plan and lead medium to large-sized capital projects/programs that include the integration of outside technical resources.
  • Control and monitor field execution activities, solving pending issues, correcting deficiencies, clarifying doubts, and ensuring compliance with project concepts.
  • Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams and execution teams (construction and electromechanical assembly).
  • Anticipate changing resource requirements and results, and initiate appropriate responses to optimize overall project results.
  • Communicate with stakeholders and facilitate regular updates and reporting on project status. Make effective presentations, both written and verbal.
  • Drive the use of engineering discipline to improve project management processes.
  • Coordinate project team members, both internal to Corbion and external engineering resources.
  • Have individual and shared responsibility for the safety of all personnel and the safe operation of departments, equipment, and buildings under their authority.
  • Review and analyze proposed new processes for safety hazards. Participate in the Management of Change (MOC), HAZOP, and HACCP processes.
  • Ensure works are performed in accordance with planned engineering techniques by monitoring and controlling their proper execution in accordance with current technical standards and legislation.
  • Ensure works are carried out according to the planned budget through the preparation of monitoring and control worksheets for the measurements of services performed, as well as the release of payments inherent to these services.
  • Ensure works are executed according to the planned deadline by preparing, updating, and analyzing physical progress schedules, as well as re-planning any deviations.

Requirements:

  • Degree in engineering
  • Solid experience in a project management role
  • Extensive problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated management experience and strong leadership skills
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese and English
