About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our Credit Portfolio Steering team as a Credit Portfolio Officer. In this role, you will contribute to the analysis of the credit portfolio, both from risk and profitability views, through the analysis of internal and external data. You will also collaborate with teams from different areas of Swiss Re to shape the data-driven transformation and solve hard data problems using cutting-edge technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the analysis of the credit portfolio, including risk and profitability views
  • Collaborate with teams from different areas of Swiss Re to shape the data-driven transformation
  • Solve hard data problems using cutting-edge technology
  • Work with colleagues in diverse functions, including underwriting, finance, operations, claims, actuarial, and risk management
About the Team

The Credit Portfolio Steering team reports directly to the Global Head of Credit & Surety (C&S) Corporate Solutions and Global Head of Actuarial Portfolio Management. C&S provides credit risk-based insurance solutions to banks and corporates in the areas of Trade, Commodity & Project Finance, Surety, Political Risk Insurance, and Trade Credit Insurance.

About You
  • Convincing interpersonal skills and ability to maintain effective working relations in a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environment
  • Self-starter organized and able to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Able to apply quantitative skills, business knowledge, logical thinking, and communicate the key message by visualization and presentation
  • Actuarial experience (2-3 years) in credit or other P&C lines preferred
  • Good knowledge and understanding of credit aggregation, global macroeconomics, financial markets, and credit-related products
