Job Title: Automation Specialist

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Automation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our project team, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality through systematic test planning, execution, and defect tracking.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement comprehensive test automation strategies.
  • Design and develop robust test automation frameworks at scale.
  • Enhance the overall user experience for our key clients.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on quality assurance and testing best practices.
  • Review and analyze software requirements, specifications, and technical designs.
  • Create comprehensive and well-structured test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Define test automation strategy and approach, including framework capabilities and tool comparison.
  • Lead the development and implementation of test automation frameworks and scripts.
  • Execute automated and manual testing activities, including functional, regression, system, and usability testing.
  • Participate in requirement and design reviews to provide early feedback on potential quality risks.
  • Provide timely and accurate status updates on testing progress and test results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years of experience in software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Automated testing, Web Services/API testing (REST API), and scripting languages based on OOP.
  • Proficient in Salesforce and Java.
  • Good understanding of Service-oriented architecture (SOA), WSDL, Swagger, and large databases such as Cassandra, Snowflake, and DB2.
  • Experience working with Container Technologies such as Cassandra and Docker.
  • Desirable: ISTQB/Salesforce Certification or other relevant certifications.
