Help Customers Implement Innovative Cloud Solutions

As a highly motivated Solutions Architect, you will help accelerate our growing State and Local Government business as part of the World Wide Public Sector practice. You will have the opportunity to shape and deliver on a strategy to build broad use of Amazon's utility computing web services directly with customers and our ecosystem of system integrators and solution providers.

Broad Responsibilities:

  • Owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects
  • Defining implementation architectures, responding to RFPs, and developing a deep expertise in AWS technologies
  • Being a subject matter expert on security as it relates to customer applications and services

Key Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
  • 5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
  • Experience in working and deploying solutions for SLG customers
