About the Role

The Account Manager is a key position at Black Box, responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base. As a consultative sales professional, you will be the catalyst behind our success, helping to solve the business needs of our clients and aligning their objectives with our solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify customer needs and develop effective solutions to address them
  • Connect client business objectives with Black Box offerings and solutions
  • Negotiate and close sales campaigns to drive revenue growth
  • Provide expertise and guidance on industry best practices and strategic development
  • Retain and expand our customer base through cross-selling and upselling opportunities
  • Sell a broad portfolio of products across various industries
  • Assist clients in maximizing their return on investment with Black Box
  • Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to our clients
  • Partner with sales and pre-sales teams to align goals and ensure ongoing refinement
  • Identify and generate leads through effective prospecting and networking
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of business-to-business experience in a complex sales environment, with a documented track record of success
  • Solution selling experience in the IT services industry is a plus
  • Excellent objection handling and negotiating abilities
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with multiple team members
  • Strong time-management and organization skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple streams of work simultaneously
  • Effective communication skills with internal stakeholders
  • Highly resourceful and able to overcome barriers and objections
  • Proven record of meeting or exceeding established goals
